WEFOUNDAutobiography of Captain John Kean of Harrisburg (Classic Reprint)

While James T. Kirk is arguably Starfleet’s “greatest captain,” we haven’t gotten his life story in his own words… until now.

Thanks to his editor, David A. Goodman , and the application of some “wibbly-wobbley timey-wimey” stuff, you can now read The Autobiography of James T. Kirk  right from the horse’s mouth!

The book itself is laid out in a chronological fashion, with Kirk’s childhood and early years comprising the early chapters and his later Starfleet career making up the majority of the book.

James Tiberius "Jim" Kirk is a fictional character in the Star Trek franchise. Kirk first appears in Star Trek: The Original Series and has been portrayed in numerous films, books, comics, webisodes, and video games. As the captain of the starship USS Enterprise , Kirk leads his crew as they explore "new worlds, where no man has gone before ". Often, the characters of Spock and Leonard McCoy act as his logical and emotional sounding boards, respectively.

James Tiberius Kirk is born in Riverside, Iowa , [1] where he was raised by his parents, George and Winona Kirk. [2] Although born on Earth, Kirk lived for a time on Tarsus IV , where he was one of nine surviving witnesses to the massacre of 4,000 colonists by Kodos the Executioner . James Kirk's brother, George Samuel Kirk, is first mentioned in " What Are Little Girls Made Of? " and introduced and killed in " Operation: Annihilate! ", leaving behind three children. [3]

[Kirk] has any normal man's insecurities and doubts, but he knows he cannot ever show them—except occasionally in private with ship's surgeon McCoy or in subsequent moments with Mr. Spock whose opinions Kirk has learned to value so highly. [12]
