That other Kirk, the one who had given Spock a glimpse of what it might have been like to live in a world where there the Empire had never risen. He had urged Spock to consider that in every revolution, there must be one man with a vision.

Spock did indeed have a vision. However, it would not be a pleasant one if he moved too fast. The images follow a teaser released in late August , which featured brief clips from each of the six episodes as well as their titles: ‘Crocodile’, ‘ArkAngel’, ‘Hang the DJ’, ‘USS Callister’, ‘Metalhead’, and ‘Black Museum’.

By now, Black Mirror  has built a lauded reputation for its mind-bending twist endings, which means it often keeps specifics close to the vest. Expectedly, then, little is known about the upcoming season. In fact, the only additional details revolve around its cast and crew.

Among the actors appearing are Jesse Plemons (Fargo ) ,  Rosemarie Dewitt ( La La Land ),   Jimmi Simpson ( Westworld ), and Michaela Coel, from Netflix sister show  Chewing Gum . On the director’s side, there are John Hillcoat ( Triple Nine ), Tim Van Patten ( Boardwalk Empire ), Toby Haynes ( Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell ), David Slade ( American Gods ), Colm McCarthy ( Peaky Blinders ), and Jodie Foster, who, outside of her acting credits, has helmed episodes of  Orange Is The New Black   and  House of Cards .
