On December 5th, FHS honored the memory of Mrs. Johnston with a ceremony coinciding with the Boys Basketball Game against Edison. Students worked hard to support the evening by:

The proceeds all went into the Traci Johnston Scholarship Fund at Edison High School. Over $1,200 was raised, with a scholarship for a Firelands student created by Edison High School through the fund.

The Firelands Select Choir sang the National Anthem, the Firelands Pep Band was on site, and The Edison Chargers and The Firelands Falcons basketball teams, students, and staff all wore commemorative shirts during the game.

Monday (12/18) :  Visitation – 8AM; Rosary – 9:30AM; Funeral Service – 10AM, Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church; Interment – Anthony Cemetery

She leaves lifetime memories to her children, Edward G. Mire, Mitchell Normand, Jr. (Rita), Barbara Wells, Lydia Spaulding, Wanda Bartley (Hammond) and Vena Normand; 22 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren; also a host of other family members and friends.

On Monday, December 18, 2017 at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church there will be a visitation at 8 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Mrs. Normand will take her earthly rest at Anthony Cemetery under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel.
